TripAdvisor: Mayang Sari Raya stays

For our 2nd and 3rd day of Raya, we went back to my mom's hometown. TERENGGANU!

Terengganu is located at the east coast of Malaysia. its like the most awesome friendly place in earth.
and the fooooooooooooooood!!! they have Nasi Dagang and Keropok Lekor! the must eat food if you are coming to Terengganu.

So for our stay there, Mom went through a lot of hotels and she had choose Mayang Sari Beach Resort. Located in Dungun. Since my grandmother house was already fully loaded with all my relatives. We had to book a hotel. Despite all the negatives comments in Tripadvisor.com, mom still make a booking there. who knows maybe we can change the resort negative preference. anyway too much positiveness can ruin you sometimes. LOL. i dont even bother to take the picture of our so call Garden Villa. ok wait i do have a few pics of Mayang Sari. and oh, I have a pic of our Garden Villa amazingly!

so our garden villa has 4 rooms. i shared a room with my sis. it is very dusty because my sister who has a bad sinus keep on sneezing. poor her. and our room has its own toilet but the toilet door cant be shut. errr... oh dear. my parents room was the worst. the toilet was not functioning well. it cant FLUSH! freaking flush was not working! and they provided towels. the towels were dirty and and.... koyak rabak! the hot shower for the middle room toilet was not working either. 

enough about our villa, not to mention their breakfast. The rice was poorly cook. the drinks whether its hot or cold all taste the same: TAWAR(too much water, its better you get a mineral bottle water instead). The sugar for tea and coffee were filled with ants. yes, the ants were happily diving in the sugar bowl. the cups are not clean as well. tsk tsk.

i know the rate was quite cheap for a resort. RM340++ for the Garden Villa but come on, we paid. We expected good service or at least good breakfast. If you dont mind these poor negative issues we went through, feel free to check the resort. It is somehow located on the almost perfect location where the sun will rise exactly in front of you((if you wake up on the exact time). It is in front of the beach.

Lesson learnt: sometimes negative comments are true too. now i need to pay more attention to the comments in Tripadvisor.com

Eidulfitri : Hari Raya 1st day

To all Muslims, Eid or Raya(A malay translation of Eid) is celebrated on 1st day of Syawal(follow the Islamic Calendar) and after our one month fasting. Since our late grandmother passed away. We have not been in festive mood for so long. But this year we totally go all out even though my lil bro is away in Adelaide. pffft sian you Fathi. go eat hilal with timtam.

Our first day of Raya was in PJ. My dad's side. We have 35 cousins with 6 families. All in one house. Our cousins all so kecoh one. I miss their presence a lot.

We all had so much fun. Mun Heng and his sister also came to celebrate the first day of raya with all of us. Unnie(my new sister from s.korea) join in along with Yuri and Tomonari san from Japan.

Well we had an awesome tiring day. I even got some duit raya. Lol make me feel like a child.
